Konnakotkaste jälgimiseks hangitakse 20 jälgimisseadet (saatjat), mis vastavad hankes kirjeldatud tehnilistele tingimustele. Lisaks saatjatele hangitakse ka neile saatjatele vähemalt 5 aasta andmeedastuse teenus ja need kaks osa peavad kokku sobima, st andmeedastus sobib seadmetega. Projekti lõpuks on 20 konnakotkast jälgitavad ja andmeedastus kindel 5 aasta jooksul.
