Engineering, procurement and construction of electrolyzer prototype which uses high-temperature solid oxide electrolyzer cells

The subject of the contract is not related to the activities of the network sector listed in § 146-147 of the Estonian Public Procurement Act. The competition procedure is carried out in accordance with the Estonian Law of Obligations Act § 1009 - § 1013 and relevant legislation and instructions and other basic documents prepared by the Contracting Authority. Enefit Solutions AS together with H2Electro OÜ are planning to develop a prototype electrolyser which uses high-temperature solid oxide electrolyser cells with capability for CO2 and H2O co-electrolysis in addition to H2O electrolysis. This project is a part of Enefit Solutions AS long-term strategy to develop products and solutions for hydrogen applications. Electrolyser prototype developed in this project should be optimized for utilizing industrial waste heat and electricity in order to produce electricity and heat and to transform CO2 to usable chemicals.
